A week-long ‘Tourism Fair and Beach Carnival’ has begun in Cox’s Bazar to promote and boost the country’s tourism sector.



A week-long ‘Tourism Fair and Beach Carnival’ has begun in Cox’s Bazar to promote and boost the country’s tourism sector.
Marking World Tourism Day, the event, sponsored by Bashundhara Group, will continue till October 3.
Cox’s Bazar district administration and beach management committee (BMC) are jointly organizing the carnival at the Laboni Point of the beach with the theme ‘Tourism’s New Concept’.
The programme was inaugurated by Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Md Mamunur Rashid with a colourful rally from Sugandha to Labani Point with the participation of 2,000 people.
Saimum Sarwar Komol MP, Ashek Ullah Rafiq MP and Jafor Alam PM were present, among others.
