Export-import thru’ Benapole land port to remain closed for 4 days

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the Benapole land port will remain suspended for four days.



Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the Benapole land port will remain suspended for four days on the occasion of Sharadiyo Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bangalee Hindu community.

However, the movement of people via the land port will remain normal.

Benapole C&F Staff Association’s General Secretary Sajedur Rahman said the trade between Bangladesh and India via the land port will remain suspended. But, all operations of the customs house including loading and unloading inside Benapole port will remain normal.

Benapole Customs Checkpost Cargo Branch Revenue Officer Aziz Khan said export-import through Benapole-Petrapole land ports will resume on October 25.
