US-Bangla Airlines to spread wings to Riyadh

US-Bangla Airlines, one of the country's private carrier, has decided to spread its wings to Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh from April 21 aiming at providing better passenger services to expatriate Bangladeshis residing in the oil-rich nation.


The carrier planned to operate five weekly flights on Dhaka-Riyadh routes 5 days in a week with its The 436-seater Airbus 330-300 aircraft, a press release of the airline said here today.  

US-Bangla Airlines will depart from Dhaka on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:35 pm for Riyadh and arrive in Riyadh at 5:10 pm local time.

It will again leave from Riyadh at 7:15 pm and arrive at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4 am.

The US-Bangla has also planned to start flights on the Dhaka-Medina route within shortest possible time prioritizing the wishes of billions of religious Muslims in Bangladesh.

Currently, US-Bangla Airlines fleet has a total of 24 aircrafts, including two Airbus 330-300, nine Boeing 737-800 and it operates flights to Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Male, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai and Kolkata routes in addition to all domestic destinations.
