Housewife’s hanging body found in Lalmonirhat

Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from Chowratari area under Sarpukur Union in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased, Moni, was found hanging by a scarf (orna) inside her room after a Messenger conversation with her husband Zulfikar Ali, who works in the railway sector, according to family members.
Family sources said she later ended her life by hanging herself inside the room following the conversation.
Police from Aditmari Police Station reached the spot and recovered the body.
Police said the exact cause of death will be known after investigation. Legal procedures in this regard are underway, reports UNB.
