SI found hanging, wife, child hurt in Ctg hotel

A police sub-inspector was found hanging while his wife and 10-month-old daughter were found injured at a residential hotel in Borotakia of Mirsharai upazila of Chattogram on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Aminul Islam, son of late Abul Hossain of Khaiyachhara union in Mirsharai. He was posted at Rangamati Police Lines.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (Mirsharai Circle) Md Nadim Hayder Chowdhury said Aminul boarded Hotel Relax Zone in Borotakia on Sunday with his wife Tahmina Akter and their 10-month-old daughter Fateya Akter to register the child's birth, reports UNB.
On Monday afternoon, police recovered Aminul's hanging body from a room of the hotel, while his wife and daughter were found injured with both bleeding, he said.
The injured were taken to hospital for treatment, the ASP said.
He also said the couple had been going through marital discord.
