Autorickshaw driver's body recovered in Munshiganj

Police recovered the body of an autorickshaw driver from Sirajdikhan upazila in Munshiganj on Monday



Police recovered the body of an autorickshaw driver from Sirajdikhan upazila in Munshiganj district on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Nekbar Hossain, 22, son of late Mohammad Saja Mia, a resident of Chargulgulia village under Basail union of the upazila.
According to the deceased family members, Nekbar went out of his house with his autorickshaw on Sunday afternoon and didn't returned home till late night. Family members searched for him but could not locate him.
Later, on Monday morning, locals saw his body was fallen down beside a brickyard in the area and informed police.
Sirajdikhan Police Station officer-in-charge Md Mijahidul Islam said being informed, police recovered the body and sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy.
It was assumed that muggers might have killed him and rob his autorickshaw but the actual reason behind the death would be known after autopsy, he added.
