One killed over loud music row at wedding party in Natore

Natore, Feb 23 -A 50-year-old man was killed in an attack allegedly by neighbours over playing music loudly during a wedding ceremony in Baraigram upazila of Natore on Saturday night.

The deceased, Kamal Bepari, was a resident of Manikpur village under the upazila.

Locals said the attendees of the wedding programme of one Suman Bepari, nephew of the victim Kamal, were playing music loudly at night.

Enraged by it, neighbours Shahadat Bepari and his two brothers suddenly attacked Kamal, leaving him dead on the spot, they said.

Baraigram police station’s Inspector (Investigation) Mahabur Rahman said being informed they recovered the body from the spot and took it to the police station.

The accused went into hiding after the incident, he said. Drives were underway to nab the accused. - UNB
