DSCC removes 100% sacrificial animal waste



Dhaka, June 18 - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) managed to remove 100% of the sacrificial animal waste from 75 wards by 12:15am on Tuesday.

Cent percent waste removal was announced with the removal of waste from ward number 62, DSCC Public Relations Officer (PRO) Abu Naser confirmed.

According to the updated information up to 12am, 100% waste has been removed from 6 out of 11 permanent and makeshif cattle markets of Dhaka South City Corporation, he added.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) authority claimed to have successfully completed the removal of sacrificial animal waste within the announced six-hour timeframe.

DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam said, "With everyone's cooperation, we have been able to completely remove the sacrificial animal waste of Dhaka North City within the six hours declared earlier.’’-UNB
