Militants Kill Nine Soldiers in Balochistan Attack

At least nine Pakistani soldiers were killed in a militant attack in the volatile Balochistan province, a government official confirmed on Tuesday.
According to a senior official from Washuk district, dozens of militants launched an assault on a police station and a border force compound.
When the army responded, they were ambushed, resulting in the deaths of nine soldiers. The official spoke anonymously, as he was not authorised to address the media.
