Three Motorcyclists Killed in Road Accident in Natore

Three young motorcyclists tragically lost their lives in a horrific road accident when a truck collided with their bike in Sekchilan, under Lalpur upazila of Natore district, around noon today.


The victims have been identified as Shraban Majumdar, 18, son of Shiben, and Swapan Majumder, 19, son of Ratan, both residents of Dhala Hindupara village in Lalpur, and Bidhan Sarkar, 18, son of Bishnu Sarkar from Sonaidanga village in Singra upazila.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:00 PM on the Walia-Kadimchilan road when the truck, traveling in the opposite direction, collided with the motorcycle. The impact instantly killed Shraban and Bidhan, while Swapan was severely injured. He succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital, according to Md. Nuruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lalpur Police Station.

An investigation has been launched, and a case has been filed in connection with the incident.
