2 killed in Panchagarh road crash

Two people were killed when a microbus and a battery-run easy-bike plunged into a roadside ditch after a collision between them on Panchagarh-Tetulia highway in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh district on Friday night.


The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, 40 of Baliadanga village and Yeasin, 7, son of Abdus Salam of Goalpara village in Sadar upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Abdullah Hill Zaman, said the Panchagarh-bound microbus and the easy-bike collided and plunged into a roadside ditch when the microbus was giving side to a truck around 7 pm at Tin Mile, leaving two people dead on the spot, reports UNB. 

Police recovered the bodies and seized the three vehicles.
