Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, known as 'Khiladi Kumar' for his action-packed roles, recently shared a memorable story about one of the most dangerous stunts of his career.

The stunt, performed for the 1998 film Angaaray, saw Akshay leap from the seventh floor of one building to the fourth floor of another, with only a narrow road separating them.

Speaking to The Quint while promoting his new film Sky Force, Akshay recalled the nerve-wracking moment, laughing as he remembered the reaction of the film's director, Mahesh Bhatt. "During that stunt, my director ran away," Akshay said with a smile. "He was so terrified for my safety, he decided to leave the scene before I made the jump."

Akshay, famous for performing his own stunts, has earned admiration for his fearless approach to action scenes. Despite the risks, he believes pushing boundaries is key to his success.

While the Angaaray stunt was successful, it serves as a reminder of the risks Akshay has taken to bring authenticity to his roles. His dedication to high-octane performances continues in Sky Force, where he once again showcases his passion for thrilling action.
