Shakil, Neer, Nayeem win 1st round

Dhaka, 5 April- IM Abu Sufian Shakil, FM Manon Reja Neer and FM Nayem Haque won their respective games and earned full points in the first round as the 2nd Chess CAD Nakhon Nayok International Open has begun from today (Friday) at Ingtarn Resort in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand.
 
Four players from Bangladesh are participating in this event.

 In the first round of play, IM Abu Sufian Shakil won against Tanish Ragavan of India, FM Manon Reja Neer won against Gutsulyak Nikolay of Russia, FM Nayem Haque won against Nakvanich Sahapol of Thailand and FM Md Taibur Rahman split point with Buranasing Wanawee of Thailand. 

A total of thirty players including one Grandmaster, two International Masters and six FIDE Masters from thirteen countries are participating in the five-day nine rounds Swiss-League competition.
