Dr. Yunus in Dubai for World Governments Summit

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus



Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus arrived in Dubai on Wednesday to attend the World Governments Summit.


He was warmly received by UAE Minister of Sports Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, who expressed appreciation for Yunus’s participation in the renowned event. Dr. Al Falasi also briefed him on the summit, which has been held annually in Dubai for over a decade.

The two leaders discussed various areas of mutual interest, particularly opportunities for collaboration in sports and cultural exchanges between Bangladesh and the UAE, according to Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.

Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to the UAE Tareq Ahmed, and UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdulla Ali Khaseif AlHamoudi were also present at the meeting.
