MoU Signed to Market Chinese E-Bike in BD

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked today between state-owned Atlas Bangladesh Limited and Chinese electric scooter and bike manufacturer Zhejiang Luan Electric Vehicle Company Limited to successfully market electric bikes (e-bikes) in the country.


In presence of Additional Secretary of the Industries Ministry Md Nuruzzaman, the MoU was inked at an event held at the Bangladesh Steel And Engineering Corporation (BSEC) conference room in the city, said a press release here.

Atlas Bangladesh Limited will market the e-bike of Zhejiang Luan Electric Vehicle Company Limited, a popular electric scooter and bike manufacturer in China, through appointing dealers across the country from next August.

Among others, Additional Secretary (State-owned Corporations) of the Ministry of Industries M A Kamal Billah and BSEC Chairman Md Anwarul Alam, Managing Director (MD) of Atlas Bangladesh Limited Md. Azibar Rahman and senior officials of the BSEC and Atlas Bangladesh Limited were present on the occasion.

Director (International Department) of Zhejiang Luan Electric Vehicle Company Limited Daniel Yu and its senior officials were present during the MoU signing ceremony, reports BSS.
