39 dengue patients hospitalized in last 24hrs

Thirty nine dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.


"During the period, seven patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, four in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka division, seven in Dhaka North city while nine in Dhaka South, two in Mymensingh and three were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 669 while five deaths from dengue disease were reported this year, reports BSS.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
