Alleged drug dealer arrested with one kg of ganja in Kalapara on Tuesday 19 May 2026.

Patuakhali: Police have arrested a drug dealer named Md. Mukul Khan (47) with one kg of ganja in Kalapara, Patuakhali. He was arrested from the Kalapara bridge built over the Andharmanik river on the Kalapara-Kuakata highway on Monday night. The arrested Mukul Khan is the son of Md. Sobahan Khan of Attaki village of Fakirhat union of Fakirhat police station in Bagerhat district.

Police said that he is a professional drug dealer. He was arrested based on a secret information.

Kalapara police station OC Md. Nazrul Islam said that a case has been registered against the arrested accused at the police station under the Narcotics Control Act. - Gofran Palash
