Unidentified man (55) found dead in Dinajpur paddy field

Dinajpur, Nov 22 --Police recovered the body of a 55-year old man from a paddy field in Sheikhpura area of Dinajpur Sadar upazila Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.

Golam Mawla Shah, inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said they recovered the body from the paddy field adjacent to the road of Sheikhpura Union Parishad building after being informed by village police.

The body was sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College morgue for an autopsy, he added.

Mominul Islam, chairman of the local union parishad, said that locals saw the man roaming around the area on Monday. He might have been suffering from mental illness, added the chairman. - UNB
