4 burnt in Narayanganj gas cylinder blast

Four of a family, including two children burnt in Narayanganj gas cylinder blast.

Four of a family, including two children, suffered burn injuries as a fire broke out in a tin-shed house due to a cooking gas cylinder blast at Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj on Saturday (December 17).

The victims of the blast are – Md Jahid Hossain, his wife Ruma Akter, daughter Laboni and son Yeasin.

Abul Kashem, a neighbor of the family, said a huge explosion was heard from the house around 6:00am. Later, locals rescued the injured and sent to Sheikh Hasina national burn and plastic surgery unit.

Doctor SM Ayub Hossain, a residential doctor of the hospital confirmed the matter.
