Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus assured on Sunday that the government will continue to provide full support to the Election Commission (EC) to ensure a free and fair election.

"In this much-anticipated election, you [the EC] are in the driver’s seat, and together, we must reach our goal," Yunus said during a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin and four other commissioners at the state guesthouse Jamuna in Dhaka.

Expressing confidence in the EC’s preparations, Yunus emphasized the interim government's commitment to conducting a transparent election. "We are moving forward with determination to deliver the best election in the nation’s history, aiming for the first half of February," he stated.
