Bus set on fire in Ashulia

A bus was set on fire by some unidentified miscreants on the Nabinagar-Chandra highway in Dhaka's Ashulia union on Tuesday night.

According to locals, a group of miscreants stopped the 'Savar Paribahan' bus on the highway and set fire to it in the night.

Being informed, firefighting units from Zirabo Modern Fire Service station rushed there and doused the blaze, said Md Alauddin, Deputy Director of the fire station.

However, no casualties were reported in this regard, the OC added.
