Fire at Mohakhali filling station under control

The fire that broke out at Eureka Filling Station in the capital’s Mohakhali area on Sunday evening has been brought under control.


The fire started around 7:18 pm, said Rashed Bin Khalid, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters’ control room.

Upon receiving the information, 11 firefighting units from  different fire stations rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at around 7:47 pm, reports BSS. 

The origin of the fire and any possible casualties were not immediately known, said Deputy Assistant Director of the FSCD media cell.
