Coriander is very aromatic and effective in reducing blood sugar level.

Coriander is effective by reducing levels of cholesterol and triglyceride, increasing the activity of HMGCoA redutase, This enzyme is responsible for biosynthesis of cholesterol

Coriander is an annual herb in the family Apiaceae. It is also known as Chinese parsley, dhania or cilantro. All parts of the plant are edible, but the fresh leaves and the dried seeds (as a spice) are the parts most traditionally used in cooking.

Coriander contains antioxidants which may help in fighting oxidative stress thereby reducing the risks of chronic illnesses. It contains phytochemicals such as terpinene, quercetin and tocopherol, which have anticancer, neuroprotective and immune boosting properties.
