Athletics competition held in Magura
Magura, 14 Jan - The athletics competition was held as part of the celebration of Festival of Youth 2025 at the Magura district stadium on Tuesday.
The competition was organized by Magura district administration and with the cooperation of Magura sports association.
The competition included nine events for men’s and seven events for women participants.
Magura deputy commissioner Md. Ohidul Islam formally inaugurated the day-long competition as the chief guest.
Additional superintendent of police Md. Mostafizur Rahman, (Salikha-Mohammadpur circle), district sports officers Anamika Das and Shaswati Shil, additional district magistrate, Magura, Md Rokunuzzaman, additional deputy commissioner (education and ICT) Md Abdul Kader, among others, were present in the inauguration ceremony.
