Shopkeeper hacked to death in Rajbari

The deceased was known as Sharif Khan, 42, son of late Hakim Khan, hailed from Dhanbaria village of Ratandia union of the upazila.



A grocery worker was hacked to death by miscreants in Rupsha Switchgate area under Kalukhali upazila in Rajbari on Wednesday night (February 21).

The deceased was known as Sharif Khan, 42, son of late Hakim Khan, hailed from Dhanbaria village of Ratandia union of the upazila.

Quoting locals, police said that the victim left home to attend a Mahfil in the village on Wednesday night. Later, his dead body was found in Bazar area.

Confirming the matter, Rajbari police superRajbari police super GM Abul Kalam Azad said investigation is underway in this regard.
