Spring Rain Showers Expected in Parts of Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain in certain areas of the country within the next 24 hours, starting at 9 am on Wednesday, as spring sets in.


According to the BMD bulletin, light rain or thunderstorms are likely in a few areas of the Rangpur and Khulna divisions, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly dry with a partly cloudy sky.

The forecast also mentions the possibility of light to moderate fog in some regions during the late night to early morning hours.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly both during the day and night across the country.
