The government has issued a nine-point directives for mosques imposing a restriction on children and elderly persons.



The government has issued a nine-point directives for mosques imposing a restriction on children and elderly persons.
The Religious Affairs Ministry disclosed the directives in a press release on Tuesday.
The directives include: children, elderly and ill persons or people engaged in the treatment of the ill will refrain from performing prayers in jamaat; hand sanitizer/hand washing system should be available at the entrance and the worshipers must use masks inside the mosque; everyone will come to the mosques after performing ablution from their respective homes and Sunnat prayers.
The government has also issued a six-point directives making masks mandatory at shops, shopping malls, markets, hotels and restaurants.
