15-year boy’s body recovered in Kushtia

Police recovered the throat-slit body of a teenage van driver in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia on Monday morning.


The deceased was identified as Hridoy Ali, son of Yunus Sheikh, a resident of Ward No. 3 of Kumarkhali municipality .

Locals said that they found the body in a garden near Hashimpur of the Padma riverbank around 11 am and informed the police.

Police said his family members lodged a complaint as he remained missing since Sunday afternoon.

Yunus Sheikh said miscreants killed his son to snatch his van.

Md. Amirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kumarkhali Police Station, said that the body was sent to the morgue for postmortem and a case will be filed, reports UNB.
