British High Commissioner, Lutfey Siddiqi Discuss Bilateral Ties

On Sunday, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, met with Lutfey Siddiqi, the Chief Adviser’s Special Envoy for International Affairs, at his office to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.


During the meeting, Special Envoy Siddiqi expressed his appreciation for the UK's continued support to Bangladesh, particularly in areas crucial for the country's development. He thanked the High Commissioner for the UK's timely and valuable assistance to the Interim Government of Bangladesh.

The discussion covered several key areas of collaboration, including technical support for Bangladesh’s financial sector and the facilitation of research aimed at implementing governance reforms. Both sides emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation in these fields to foster long-term growth and stability.
