Rain or thundershowers likely in all divs including Dhaka in 24 hours commencing 9am Monday



Dhaka, Sept 02 - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or thundershowers in all divisions including Dhaka in 24 hours commencing 9am on Monday.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office bulletin.

The country’s highest 59mm rainl was recorded in Cumilla in 24 hours till 6am on Monday.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the BMD.

Country’s highest temperature was recorded in Chuadanga at 34.6 degree Celsius over the past 24 hours while the lowest temperature was in Dinajpur at 24.8 degree Celsius.-UNB
